Laeuer Studio, pronounced 'Layer Studio', is an atelier based in Melbourne that was founded in 2021 by Industrial Designers Clarence Tay and Jihye Lee. The duo established the studio because they discovered it was difficult to find exceptionally crafted leather products that strike the perfect balance between character and aesthetics, along with meticulous attention to detail and sustainable production.

Laeuer Studio - a name that embodies their abiding devotion to every aspect of the design process, from its conceptualization to the realization of each exquisite creation. Beyond the tangible facets, their focus extends to the nuanced layers that collectively shape the end result, ensuring that every product is a true masterpiece in its own right.

As staunch advocates of responsible fashion, they believe that fashion can co-exist harmoniously with sustainability. To this end, they selectively source eco-labeled, premium quality leather directly from Italy, and package their products using eco-friendly materials.

With their profound reverence for the environment, all their products are thoughtfully designed and sustainably handmade in small batches at our Melbourne Atelier.
